Historical Sketch

Patoka United Methodist Church was founded in 1811. The first minister was Rev. Benjamin Edge. The church building was built in 1850. The building was rebuilt in 1927 after a fire. Renovations of the chruch were completed in 1945. The church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church in 2023.
