Biographical Sketch
Harold Morton Thrasher was born April 7, 1902 in White County near Monon, Indiana. He was the son of Oliver M. and Laura Wilson Thrasher. He moved with his family to Tippecanoe, Indiana and from here he was graduated from high school in 1920. He was licensed to preach from the Tippecanoe Church on February 27, 1920. Reverend Thrasher graduated from DePauw University in 1924 with an A.B. degree and was named to the Phi beta Kappa Honorary Society. Continuing his education, he graduated from Boston University School of theology with an STB degree in 1927. During his years at both colleges, he served many temporary pastorates.
