Historical Note
Richvalley United Methodist Church was founded in 1870 by Jesse Jay. The first recorded minister was Rev. W.M. Settler. The first church building was erected in 1874. The present church was erected in 1905. There were additions and remodels to the building in 1915, 1958, and the mid 1950's. The church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church, closing on December 1, 2022.
