Historical Sketch
Founded in 1839 with Rev. C. W. Miller as first minister. In 1965 Centenary Evangelical United Brethren Church and Fairview Evangelical United Brethren Church merged with South Whitley Evangelical United Brethren Church. Two years later, in 1967, South Whitley Evangelical United Brethren and South Whitley Methodist Episcopal Church merged and became South Whitley United Methodist Church. The church disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church, closing on July 1, 2023.
