Biographical Sketch

James Armstrong began his ministry in New Port Richey, Florida in 1947. He transferred to the Indiana Conference of the Methodist Church in 1958; served as Bishop of the Dakotas Area of the UMC 1968-1980 and Bishop of the Indiana Area 1980-1983.
