Biographical Sketch
August J. Butcher was born February 7, 1862 in Zurich, Switzerland and died January 23, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was elected editor of The Christian Apologist in 1918 and was a member of the Indiana Conference of the ME Church at the time of his death.
