Biographical Sketch

Eli Farmer was born February 15, 1794 in Franklin County, Kentucky and died February 6, 1881 in Bloomington, Ind. He was a founding member of the Indiana Conference of the ME Church, an Indiana state senator, a veteran of the War of 1812 and the Civil War, and the principal founder of Indiana's Church of God.
