Biographical Sketch
Philip Gatch was born March 2, 1751 in Baltimore County, Maryland and died December 28, 1835 in Ohio. An ME circuit rider, he preached throughout the colonies during the Revoutionary War and was a member of the first Methodist society formed in Ohio.
