Historical Sketch
Wilhelm Nast founded the first German ME Church, Race Street in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the summer of 1838. In 1864, separate German conferences were formed. This arrangement continued until 1934 when the German conferences were disbanded and the churches merged into the existing ME conferences.
