Biographical Sketch

Chalmer C. Harold was born on November 9, 1878, in Hamilton County, IN, the son of John and Emily (Brawn) Harold. On June 25, 1901, he married Winnie Balding at Noblesville. After serving a student pastorship at DePauw University, Harold joined the Northwest Indiana Conference in 1905, and served within that conference until he retired in 1951. He was best known for his tireless work on behalf of the Battle Ground Assembly at Battle Ground, IN. He also served seven years as conference secretary. He died on July 9, 1961 in Lafayette, IN. His wife, Winnie (Balding) Harold, died in their home in West Lafayette, IN on February 8, 1958.
