Biographical Sketch
Carl O. Holmes was born June 15, 1883 in Porter County, Ind. and died May 31, 1954 in Indianapolis, Ind. A businessman and civic leader, he helped found Gary First Methodist Church and served five times as a lay delgate to the General Conference of the Methodist Church.
