Biographical Sketch
Jim Jones, a native of Lynn, Ind. was the minister of Indianapolis Somerset Methodist Church 1952-1954. Later he founded the People's Temple, moved it to California and later to Guyana, where he and all of his followers died as a result of a murder-suicide pact in 1978.
