Biographical Sketch
Samuel Longden was born July 24, 1815 in Derbyshire, England and died February 26, 1898 in Greencastle, Indiana. After transferring from the Pittsburg Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, he served the Southeast Indiana Conference from 1854 until his retirement in 1875.
