Biographical Sketch
John E. Porter was born January 1, 1879 in Russell County, Virginia and died December 31, 1962 in Greencastle, Indiana. He served the Methodist Episcopal Church for 37 years, including 27 years with Northwest Indiana Conference, before retiring in 1945.
