John Wilson Knox papers
Collection Statement
The collection consists mostly of manuscripts relating to his days as a student at Indiana Asbury University and alumni activities following graduation. There are two essays on women's suffrage that have been transcribed by the donor. Also included are a number of issues of the student newspaper, Asbury Review, October 1873 to May 1876.

Biographical Sketch
Born July 4, 1850 in Illinois, he died February 17, 1930, in Wabash Township, Clark County, Illinois. He was a member of the DePauw University Class of 1877. He taught school in Goshen, Ind., Clark County, Ill., Marshall, Ill., Vigo County, Ind. and was a trustee of township schools in Wabash County, Ill. He was later involved in stock raising.
