Biographical Sketch
Dorothy Birney Bailey was the daughter of Methodist Episcopal Church bishop, Lauress John Birney. She spent time with him in China in the 1920s. She later became an authority on the history of Brown County while living in Nashville, Ind. She wrote a history of the county.
