This collection contains files from the Media Relations Office. The records include correspondence, announcements, photographs, and clippings of various activities at DePauw from 1955 through 2001. The folders, except in a few cases, retain the subject assigned by the Media Relations Office.

Historical Sketch
The Media Relations Office (formerly Public Relations Office and formerly News Bureau) of DePauw writes and distributes news about the university for all facets of the news media. This includes local radio and television stations, in addition to distributions that sometimes reach national publications. Public Relations also contacts publications in the home towns of DePauw students so they can recognize students' achievements and activities. Announcing public affairs at DePauw, such as concerts, recitals, art exhibits, lectures, sports events and convocations is another responsibility of the Public Relations Office.
