Biographical Sketch
John Sinclair Tevis was born October 3, 1828 in Bracken County, Kentucky and died April 17, 1909 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He served the Southeast Indiana Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church from 1852 until his retirement in 1892.
