Biographical Sketch
James L. Thompson was born March 17, 1791 in Kentucky and died September 15, 1861 in Thorntown, Indiana. He served the Indiana area of the Methodist Episcopal Church 1821-1860 and is the founder of Thompson's Chapel UMC in Harrison County, Indiana.
