Biographical Sketch
Franklin J. Tolby was born September 26, 1841 in Hendricks County, Indiana and was shot and killed September 14, 1875 near Cimarron, New Mexico. He served the Northwest Indiana Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church 1871-1874 and was serving as a missionary to New Mexico at the time of his death.
