Biographical Sketch
Dr. Wyckoff joined the DePauw economics department faculty in 1947 and served as chairman of the department from 1958 until his retirement in 1964. Teaching at a college in Greensboro, N.C., following his DePauw retirement, Dr. Wyckoff and Mrs. Wyckoff moved to Claremont, California where a son, Peter, was in the U.S. Forest Service. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Wyckoff taught at St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland, and at the University of Maryland. He was serving as principal economist with the U.S. Bureau of Internal Revenue when he was appointed to the DePauw faculty. Dr. Wyckoff died November 13th in California following a heart attack. He was 76 years old.
