Scope and Contents
This collection consists of Rev. Quincy Allen Myers’ papers. They include Chinese translations, Christmas cards, correspondence, diaries, family history, maps, newspaper clippings, sermons written in Chinese, and writings. The papers deal with Rev. Myers’ work during missions in Chungking, China through the Methodist Church and are particularly strong in his description of Chinese social conditions, the Chinese language and its translations to the English language, and his mission work and travel. A biography, A Good-Will Messenger, written by Cora Lacey Myers is also included.
