Scope and Contents
This collection contains the following writings: Report of the Student Senate Conference on University Affairs: 'Operation Outreach' dated 1962, Black in the Black and Gold: A Brief Social History of Blacks at DePauw University dated 1990, a 2011 orientation program proposal for under-represented students, titled The Inclusive Excellence Initiative for DePauw University, a Crossroads and Multicultural Advocates proposal, titled Crossroads: Orientation Program for Under-Represented Students dated circa 2009-2010s, and Blacks at DePauw: A Special Report to the University by Richard L. Dixon, dated 1980.
Also included are histories of African American students at DePauw, a summary of DePauw's diversity from the mid-1950s-2000s, a list of 19th century African American graduates of DePauw and data sets from the Office of Institutional Research dated from the 1980-1990s.
