This collection contains a Chronology and Register prepared by Marion Crandall about her husband Dr. Andrew Wallace Crandall from 1894-1963. Also contained are Civil War diaries and letters along with World War II diaries and personal assignments and letters. The collection also contains taped lectures on the Battle of Gettysburg.

Collection includes an autobiography, photograph albums of the Confucian Temple, the Imperial City, the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace and Peking Street Scenes containing descriptions and comments by Miss Adams, a diary of her experiences as a prisoner of the Japanese Military and six textbooks written by Miss Adams for Biblical Knowledge courses, published by The Council on Christian Literature for Overseas Chinese.

Joseph Percival Allen IV graduated from Crawfordsville High School, earned a B.A. from DePauw University, MS and a doctorate in Physics from Yale University. He was selected as a scientist-astronaut by NASA in August 1967. This collection consists mainly of clippings from the years of Dr. Allen's rides in outer space.
